The location is absolutely perfect and magnificent for exploring Ridgeland. I have to mention the above average and large breakfast with real eggs and fresh fruit and waffles.
The room is kinda smelly.

I only booked a room at the Cabot lodge because we were having a meeting there, but I ended up booking at the wrong location. The people in the room across the hall from me partied past 2:00 A.M. I could hear everyone yelling and could hear every sound in the hall. The walls there are not sound barriers at all. Staff (except for the lady working in the popcorn area that evening) seemed as if guest were bothersome when asking for help. I would not recommend this place to friends.

This hotel is recently renovated. The rooms were immaculate. I can't say enough about how great my stay was. The front desk was attentive to my stay and always was professional. I really don't know what these other reviews are about. The hotel looked brand new. Smelled brand new. They had a breakfast that included eggs bacon sausage. They also have free drinks at night, beer, mix drinks, cokes, and popcorn. Never made it to the gym but I could see it from the lobby. It had all kinds of different machines. elliptical and treadmills that I could see.

Linens were good
It was late in the day when I opted to take a shower. I popped open the drain, turned on the water and "stuff" (waste) came up and out of the drain. The tub drained extremely slowly. I took a very short 3 minute shower in ankle deep water. Yuck!!!! I reported it to the front desk staff the next day and they didn't act like they cared. I was disgusted. The front desk staff made no effort to accommodate me. Breakfast was included but very poor quality. I am extremely disappointed.
